LIMITED 1 YEAR COMPONENTS WARRANTY

Include forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, cables, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, chain, rims, spokes, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, kick stand, reflectors and hardware are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase.

LIMITED 1 YEAR BATTERY WARRANTY

Lithium Ion batteries are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for 1 year period from the date of original purchase (cycle life or deep charge up to 70% full capacity).

LIMITED 30 DAYS FULL REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

If a E-JOE bicycle is not working properly because of a major defect within the first 30 days of purchase, E-JOE Bike, Inc. will repair or replace any defective E-JOE Bicycle at its sole option and expense upon determining whether the damage, failure, or loss is due to a major defect.

E-JOE Bike will have sole discretion to determine whether the damage, failure or loss is due to a major defect or otherwise.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

  • This warranty only applies to the original registered owner of a E-JOE Bike bicycle and is not transferable.
  • This warranty applies only to E-JOE bicycles purchased from and assembled by Authorized E-JOE Dealers.
  • This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to defects, malfunctions, or failures of bicycles subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration modification, and accident or other improper use.
  • To obtain warranty service, the original owner must deliver the bicycle, warranty registration proof and bill of sale to an Authorized E-JOE Dealer.
  • All labor charges for warranty service are the responsibility of the bicycle’s owner.
  • E-JOE shall repair or replace all parts that are found by E-JOE to be defective and covered by the
    limited warranty.
  • All freight charges for warranty service will be borne by the original owner.
  • This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow  instructions in the owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, modification, improper assembly.
  • This warranty does not include covering normal wear and tear parts (tires, tubes, brake,  etc.)
  • This warranty does not cover parts damaged by an attempted repair unless performed by an authorized dealer of E-JOE Bike with E-JOE Bike’s knowledge.

    I just Bought My e-joe epik 10 days ago and the electric control does not give power any more, I bought it in San Diego and know I am traveling and need to be fixed in San Francisco, how can I make effective the warranty in San Francisco?

      Hi Luis,

      Your bike will be under warranty even if you move to Northern California. We do not currently have a dealer in San Francisco, but you can take the bike to a local ebike shop or to an e-JOE dealer located in San Mateo.

    I need to get some suspension forks for a 20″ wheel with disk brake mounts like on you bikes. Zooming in on the pics it looks like the brand is Parafit? Model is “Zoom”? Can I buy these forks form you or can you tell me where to buy them? Thanks!

      Sorry….I think the model is called “Zoom” on your E-Joe SE folder.

      Hi Bill,

      The suspension forks we have used on our latest model of the EPIK SE are Tempo forks. This is a major upgrade from the forks we used on our previous versions of the SE.     Great bike but Beware of warranty , I was told the part I needed was maybe in a shipment in two months. Meanwhile I have 1500 dollar paper weight.

      Hi Scott,

      We are sorry for the delay on getting you the magnet that you broke that helps hold the bike together when the bike is folded. We are out of stock right now, but should have them in the next few weeks. When they come in, we will gladly take your order for a new one. In corresponding with hundreds of happy e-JOE riders, many of them use bungee cords or a Velcro strap to hold the two sides together when the bike is folded and not being ridden. This is a fantastic solution for the meantime while you are waiting for your replacement magnet. The magnets are not essential to the riding of the bike, so we hope that you are out there enjoying your bike. Also, just like with any bike, it is a good idea to periodically tune up the bike, make sure the brakes are tight enough, make sure there are no loose parts, and tighten things up. One product that works great for keeping screws and other threaded materials in place is a product called Loctite. This is a very important step, especially when people like yourself, order bikes online and have them shipped to their residences. There can be movement and jiggling during shipment, so careful inspection upon arrival is important.

      After you purchased your bike, you had a problem with the battery. We took your word for it that you were not getting the full range out of the battery, no questions asked, and quickly sent you another one. We like to take great care of our customers so they are out there riding their bikes as much as possible. I would hope that you have been out there having a blast on your new bike with the new battery that we sent you.
